OK, so I'm back for one soliltary visit, care of my neighbours. Basically my connection is down and I won't be back permanently for about a month but then I'll be back faster and cheaper so it's not quite all bad.
Everyone who has wondered why I haven't commented on their work - I will, when I'm back - I just checked and I have over a hundered pieces to look at but I'll get through it all, eventually.
Brief update on Nana - She lives! Better than that they gave her a very new, very wexpensive drug and, though it's still iffy whether she'll be able to look after herself properly long term she is back in her flat (she is housebound though) an

My Nana

My Nana's not well. We think she has Guillain-Barré's which is a degenerative post-viral disorder which induces paralysis. Some people who get it end up on ventilators but I don't know if my Mum would put my Nana on one - she is 87 after all.
Some people do get better from it but these people are usually younger, stronger and generally healthier than my Nana.
She's going into hospital today for tests, they're keeping her in for a couple of days and if she does have it then she will stay there until the acute phase has passed, which also means she may have passed.
It's a very worrying time but, honestly, I think my Nana's going to die.

Trying to get 100 artists together to create an "exquisite corpse" piece. I'm not the founder but I'm definitely going to take part, however we do need more takers.
The premise is that you will eventually receive a 1x10cm strip, you must incorporate it as the left hand side of a 10x10cm piece, the right hand 1cm strip from your panel will be passed to the next person as the left hand side of their piece. Eventually all 100 pieces will form one long, continuous work.
